DAY 1

Arrival in Srinagar

Upon your arrival at Srinagar International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you. They will guide you to your awaiting vehicle for a 35-minute drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. This journey takes you past the Abdullah bridge, connecting the banks of the Jehlum river, winding its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. Arriving at the hotel/houseboat, we check in, followed by a 2-hour shikara ride in the lake. This boat excursion offers picturesque views of vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/houseboats.

DAY 2

In Srinagar: Local Sightseeing – Half a Day

Today, we embark on half a day of local sightseeing, including a visit to the renowned Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built over 14 years, these gardens are a legacy left by the Mughals, known for their fascination with creating exquisite gardens. Set against the backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan mountains, the gardens feature green turfs, blooming flowers, and cascading water fountains. After exploring the gardens, we return to the hotel/houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3

Srinagar to Pahalgam: (97 kilometers / 3-4 hrs drive)

Our journey begins towards Pahalgam on National Highway 1A, passing through saffron fields of Pampore, the fascinating ruins of Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, renowned as the breadbasket of Kashmir. Crossing the Lidder river, we reach Pahalgam, where we check in at the hotel. Later, we indulge in nature walks and have the option to explore Chandanwari, Betaab valley, or ride by horseback through the wildlife sanctuary towards Baisaran meadows. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4

Pahalgam to Gulmarg: (152 kilometers / 4-5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, we proceed towards Gulmarg, passing through colorful villages and rice fields, providing insights into Kashmir’s rich cultural past. Arriving in Gulmarg, we check in at the hotel and embark on a short tour around the meadow. A Gondola cable car ride takes us to the Afarwatt Mountain range, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges. After descending, we explore the strawberry valley and spend the night at the hotel.

DAY 5

Gulmarg to Srinagar

We spend the afternoon in Gulmarg, enjoying small tours around the meadow, before driving back to Srinagar in the evening. On reaching Srinagar, we transfer to the hotel/houseboats for an overnight stay.

DAY 6

Srinagar to Yusmarg (Day Trip)

After a hearty breakfast, we embark on a two-hour journey to Yusmarg, a place relatively unknown to the outside world. The drive takes us across grassy meadows, surrounded by pine forests and majestic snow-clad mountains. In Yusmarg, activities include walks across rolling meadows and a visit to the historical tomb of Sheikh Nu-Ud-Din. We return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel/houseboats.

DAY 7

Srinagar to Sonamarg: (Day Trip)

Beginning with a sumptuous breakfast, we drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route offers picturesque countryside views, including rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams, and blooming rice fields. After exploring Sonamarg, we return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel/houseboats.

DAY 8

In Srinagar (Day at leisure for individual activities)

After a delicious breakfast, the day is at leisure for individual activities. Options include a shikara ride in Dal Lake, visits to places like Pari Mahal or Cheshma Shahi springs, or simply relaxing at the hotel/houseboats. In the evening, a nature walk along Boulevard Road, flea market visits, and window shopping are available. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/houseboat.

DAY 9

Srinagar to Manasbal: (Day Trip)

Following breakfast, we embark on a day trip to Manasbal Lake, located in the Jehlum valley. The lake, surrounded by three villages, has a Mughal garden laid by Nur-Jehan. Exploring the area, we discover the Baladar mountains and an ancient temple dating back to 800-900 AD. After the excursion, we return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel/houseboats.

DAY 10

Departure from Srinagar

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
