Pakherpora Shrine
The revered mausoleum of Syed Balkhi, Pakherpora Shrine stands as a prominent Muslim pilgrimage site in Yusmarg. This sacred location, also recognized as a heritage site from centuries past, draws a large gathering of devotees during the annual urs (death anniversary) of the saint. Pakherpora presents a unique scene with uncommon trees on its grounds, exclusive to this region of Kashmir.

Charar-i-Sharief
Constructed in honor of Sheikh Noor-ud-din, the Patron saint of Kashmiris, Charar-i-Sharief holds the distinction of being the oldest sacred shrine in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. This wooden shrine, aged 600 years, enjoys popularity not only among Muslim devotees but also commands deep reverence from Hindus.
Popularly known as Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Wali, this mosque is named after the renowned Kashmiri saint who offered his Friday prayers here, with his remains interred at this revered religious site near Yusmarg. During the annual Urs (death anniversary) of the saint, people from all faiths converge at the shrine seeking blessings.

Dudh Ganga
Meandering through the picturesque Yusmarg, Dudh Ganga is an exquisite river known for its milky-colored water. Abundant with trout fishes, it is considered one of Kashmir’s premier angling and fishing destinations.
Dudh Ganga serves as an ideal base for various trekking expeditions. Trekkers embark on journeys to popular destinations like Sang-e-Safed Valley, Tatakoti, Romesh Thong, and Sunset Peak after camping by the Dudh Ganga.
DAY 4
Nilnag Lake
Situated amidst dense pine forests, Nilnag Lake is a high-altitude lake and a top destination near Yusmarg. The blue waters of this sparkling lake, surrounded by towering pine trees and snow-capped mountains, make it a must-visit location.
For adventure enthusiasts, Nilnag offers an excellent opportunity for trekking. The trek winds through a picturesque pine forest, with numerous streams along the way. The ascent to Nilnag Lake is steep but rewards trekkers with unforgettable memories.

Sang-e-Safed
